New Croatian Science Foundation Research Projects (HRZZ-PDIP) Approved at Our Institute
Our colleague Ivana Bertović, PhD is one of only 12 young scientists from across Croatia and from all scientific fields whose first (and we are certain not the last) competitive research project intended for postdoctoral researchers (PDIP) has been approved under the latest call of the Croatian Science Foundation (HRZZ). The project, titled “The Role of the PTPIP51 Protein in the Regulation of Cytomegalovirus Infection”, marks an important achievement for Ivana and our institution.
This is not the only PDIP project awarded at the University of Rijeka, Faculty of Medicine. In



We are presenting an overview of the results for our ongoing H2020 Marie Curie project. The information is available in the attached brochure.
Prof. Stipan Jonjic and his research group has received ERC Proof of Concept (PoC) as the first grant beneficiary in Croatia. This is not the first time that Prof. Jonjic has received such a prestigious grant, as in 2012. he was the first to receive the ERC Advanced Grant.
