Assoc. Prof. Vanda Juranić Lisnić Elected Associate Member of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts

We are proud to announce that our colleague, assoc. prof. Vanda Juranić Lisnić, has become an associate member of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts.

Prof. Juranić Lisnić, a faculty member at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Rijeka, is a dedicated scientist whose research focuses on immunology and virology. She has published more than 30 scientific papers in high-quality international journals, authored several book chapters and presented her work at numerous international scientific congresses. Her scientific excellence has been recognized through multiple awards, most notably the State Award for Science for 2021 in the field of biomedicine and health.
She has also led two Croatian Science Foundation grants, participated in two collaborative grants funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG), and received several grants from the University of Rijeka Science Foundation.

We would also like to extend our sincere congratulations to prof. Luka Čičin-Šain, our collaborator and colleague, who has been elected a corresponding member of the Academy.
