Marija Mazor, PhD
Postdoctoral researcher
Marija is a postdoctoral researcher specializing in preclinical translational cancer research, with a particular focus on immune checkpoint therapy targeting proteins of the Nectin family, as well as viral pathogenesis in the female reproductive system and adrenal glands.
She earned her MSc in Molecular Biology from the University of Zagreb in 2012. In the same year, she completed a joint European MSc in Bioindustrial Techniques at the University of Zagreb and the University of Orléans, France. In 2016, she obtained her PhD in cell therapy for cartilage repair from the University of Orléans as a fellow of the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research.
Marija has extensive experience in cell culture, molecular biology, histology, immunostaining, and a range of animal models, including multiple tumor models.
