Anita Gaberščik obtained her MD from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Zagreb in 2018. Her Master's thesis was done in the field of comparative immunogenetics of human and canine. During the last year and a half of her studies, she was enrolled in the laboratory work at the virology laboratory of the Department for Microbiology and Infectious Diseases with Clinic. She was one of the first interns in the rotational internship program at her home Faculty, in which she enrolled immediately upon graduation. In 2019 she has started her PhD studies at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Rijeka where she joins the laboratory of Prof. Dr. Stipan Jonjić. She currently works as an assistent on the Croatian-Switzerland project " Clonal dynamics of memory CD8 T cell inflation" which is done in the collaboration with ETH Zurich and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Astrid Krmpotic and Prof. Dr. Annette Oxenius.
